Hey, I'm Purvii.
I grew up in Jaipur in a Marwari family where colours, festive chaos, culture and, obviously, food were always around. Sweets weren't just desserts; they were part of celebrations, family, memories and everyday life.
Moving to Mumbai gave me a completely different world to fall in love with: artsy streets, cafés, bakeries, new cultures and a much faster creative energy.
Somewhere between the mithai shops of Jaipur and the cafés of Mumbai, Sweet Cult began to make sense.
After studying commerce at Mithibai College and later completing my Master of Design (M.Design) at NIFT Mumbai, I knew I wanted to build something of my own.
I was always searching for everyday clothes that weren't so... everyday. Something playful, expressive and a little unexpected.
So I started designing what I couldn't find.
